ALCON:  The reunion has been rolexed (tentatively) to 5 Feb 2022

38 TRS personnel who deployed to the 'Lik for DESERT STORM.

Ken Rizer and Brian MacDougald are planning our 30th (+ 1) year reunion for deployed aircrew and spouses /significant others.  We are planning on booking a couple dozen rooms at the Hyatt Regency DFW (at the airport) in Dallas for the night of Saturday 5 February of 2022.

The room is ~ $150 with tax.  In addition, we have a room at the hotel to host our buffet dinner, which will run ~ $75 per person (including a ridiculous 26% gratuity).

The notional plan is to meet up informally at the bar adjacent to dinner room prior, then gather for dinner (probably) about 6:00 until 9:00ish.

More details to follow.  Will work the money details later.

In the meantime, you can populate your profile by clicking on the SQUADRON MATES PROFILE tab at the top of the left column and update your info.  It should send us an email to begin the verification process, then you'll be allowed to enter the site and recce your way around.

If you have contact info for folks currently listed below reach out to them and get them in-processed.  You can reach MacD at or Razor at

Squadron mates.  It is with great sadness that I post here -- Lt Col Michael "Mex" Mechsner passed away in Austin on 28 Dec 2019.  He was a great aviator, officer, mentor, and gentleman.  Prayers go out to the Mechsner family.  Please pass along to our 38 TRS brethern.

Mex was buried on Friday 17 Jan at the Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery.  The day started at the Randolph AFB chapel at 10:00; afterwards a celebration of Mex's life, then internment at Ft Sam at 2:15.
